Note: Palace Station charges an additional $14.99 per night ‘resort fee’ after check-out. This fee stinks but they do offer a few nice perks. These include

* Free in-room wired and wireless internet
* Free local, 800 and anywhere in US phone calls
* Fitness Center access
* Daily newspaper
* Airport & Strip shuttle service (call ahead for pick-up)

Just to be upfront the reviews for Palace Station aren’t glowing, however I’ve ventured in the casino and found there to be no problems. Rooms start at $25.99 before resort fees. Upgrade to the ‘Tower Rooms’ (photo below), as they are much nicer than the courtyard rooms.

Note: You will need a rental car or transportation if you wish to leave the property. It’s about 5 – 10 minutes off of the strip via a highway and is NOT within walking distance of the strip or downtown. They do offer a free shuttle for those willing to work within shuttle hours (early morning to about 11pm at night)
